A busty influencer who made headlines after she went through a violent-looking vampire facial favoured by Kim Kardashian has revealed she used a diabetes medication to lose weight.
Former ‘Germany’s Next Top Model’ participant, Gina-Lisa Lohfink, 36, from the city of Frankfurt, Hesse State, Germany, shocked her fans when she revealed she keeps an Ozempic drug in her fridge.
The drug, used to treat Type 2 Diabetes, keeps gaining fame as celebrities, such as SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, 52, and American talk show host Oprah Winfrey, 70, have described taking it to lose weight in short time frames.
In an interview with German newspaper Bild, Gina-Lisa revealed her experience with the medication, and said: “I don’t take them anymore. This is complete crap. It’s still there, it’s already ancient.
“I tried that once. But it made me sick. I love trying new beauty tricks, but this wasn’t for me. I also don’t want to take away the medication from diabetics.”
The scandalous blonde hit the front when she underwent a vampire facial, favoured by numerous Hollywood celebrities including Kim Kardashian, a year ago.
The skin procedure reportedly involved removing blood from the body before reinserting it into the face with tiny needles.
She, however, now claimed that a lot has changed ever since, and she is now focused on seeking emotional well-being.
Gina-Lisa who boasts over 285,000 followers on Instagram, said: “I’m letting go of my old habits. I bought new furniture. First I had dark colours, now light ones.
“Among other things, a white couch – that’s good for my soul.”
She added: “I have separated from a lot of people who are not good for me. That have sucked me dry for years.
“I don’t want to be a stepping stone anymore for people who first act like they like me and then get gross.”
The influencer then commented on her love life and said: “It’s very good for me, believe me. But I want to keep that to myself and protect it a little.”
