Fans are getting hot under the collar over what they say is a bid by football icon Neymar to rekindle his fling with a model over a shirt.
The Brazilian star notoriously bedded stunning Fernanda Campos behind his partner Bruna Biancardi’s back while she was expecting their baby daughter Mavie.
Now followers believe he is planning to restart the romance after Fernanda said that he had liked a message she had sent him with a heart emoji.
She says she sent an Instagram message to Neymar in 2023 reminding him that he had promised her a Brazil squad shirt.
At the time, he had reportedly told Fernanda, who has nearly 900,000 Instagram followers, that he would deliver it to her personally.
Now she says he has recently replied by liking her message with a heart emoji.
The revelation has sparked talk among fans on social media that Neymar plans to revive their affair
One said: “I think he wants to hand over the shirt and see you again, like that!”
Another said: “It seems like he remembers Bruna and automatically remembers you.”
To prove her point Fernanda shared a screenshot of the exchange.
The snap shows a message apparently from Neymar Jr saying ‘reagiu con a sua’ with a heart, meaning ‘reacted with this’.
Fernanda said: “They say I invent things with him to make noise. Look at the screenshot, it’s always true. No fake news.”
She added: “I don’t think he forgot me. Do you want to remember?”
Neymar is one of the wealthiest players in the world after a lifetime at clubs like PSG and Barcelona and his EUR 90 million signing to Saudi Arabia’s Al Hilal side where he is paid EUR 150 million a year.
