An alcohol-addicted German influencer has celebrated one year of sobriety in an Instagram snap claiming that she never would have managed to ditch the booze without her two daughters.
Popular model and television actress Sara Kulka, from the German town of Taucha, proudly called herself a surviviour in her latest post on the social media platform on Sunday, 26th November.
The 33-year-old mum of two spoke openly about her battle with alcohol and how she is now celebrating being one year clean and into recovery.
Sara, who gained popularity as a contestant in Germany’s Next Top Model casting and reality TV show, where she finished fifth, told her 251,000 followers: “A year without depression and a year without alcohol.
“In my worst time, I only saw one way to go, I wanted to take the path of least resistance.
“My head was going crazy and bad thoughts and fears dominated my life, at least what was left of it. Only a small glimmer kept me alive and fighting, my daughters.
“Without them, I don’t even want to think about what could have happened.”
Polish-born Sara continued: “But in the end, the fight was worth it, I’m free, free of medication, free of alcohol, free of pathological uncontrolled thoughts. I’m alive again.
“Even though sometimes there are lows or my panic disorder still comes through, I am no longer affected, I have learned to live with that. I couldn’t really live with the depression.
“I am grateful for every phase of my body. And yes, I am a survivor.
“To everyone affected, please never give up, you are loved and needed.”
Sara, who is an ex-stripper, has reportedly been happily married for over a decade and lives together with their two children Annabel and Matilda in a house in the German city of Leipzig.
She made headlines in 2021, after revealing that one of her daughters’ favourite cuddly toy is a half-naked female torso with giant breasts.
Sara then said: “That wasn’t really a present for her, but it’s her favourite now.”
She then again hit the front when she introduced a purple dildo as her “new lover” when asked by one of her fans to show them her partner.
