Influencer Beauty And Pal Accused Of Kidnapping Estate Agent Who Refused To Pay Back Deposit On Property

A pretty Brazilian business influencer and a pal have been accused of kidnapping a female estate agent who they accused of ripping them off by refusing to give back a deposit on a property.

Influencers Claudia Rodrigues and Camila Rodrigues are among a number of people suspected of kidnapping and torturing the woman estate agent in the Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte, in Brazil.

Investigators allege that the crime took place in early April at a high-end condominium in the city of Vespasiano and that the female victim went to the authorities to make a complaint.

Police spokesperson Rodrigo Bustamante said: “They lured her to the house of one of the people who were arrested, claiming that she had another property to sell.

“When she got there, her freedom was restricted, and attacks began, such as cutting her hair. She spent six to seven hours suffering these attacks.”

Investigators told local media that the property broker received a deposit before concluding a rental contract and was supposed to return the money to her customers at the end of the lease.

But she reportedly failed to do so, leading to the kidnapping and attacks.

The police also said that the group who attacked the estate agent, who has not been named, even tried to ransom her for BRL 60,000 (GBP 9,400).

Investigators also said that the broker has a history of embezzlement.

One of the suspects, Claudia Rodrigues, describes herself as an “entertainment businesswoman” and has over 100,000 followers on Instagram which often shows photos of parties on trips abroad to Dubai in the Maldives.

The woman also claims to own six bars in Minas Gerais.

One of the other suspects, Camila Rodrigues, has more than 33,000 followers on Instagram and describes herself as a “businesswoman specialising in making dreams come true”.

The investigation is ongoing.
