A busty influencer has been taken into custody for carrying out a series of robberies outside banks in Brazil.

Karina Laino Gomes, who has more than 63,000 followers on TikTok, and her boyfriend, Edmilson Souza da Silva, were arrested in Rio de Janeiro on 7th June.
They are suspected of robbing customers going to make deposits or payments at bank branches in the city.
The Rio de Janeiro State Civil Police arrested the couple after an increase in such robberies in recent months.
After contacting an affected branch in the Realengo neighbourhood, officers were able to identify a car used in a robbery on 31st May.
After it was placed under surveillance, officers were finally able to apprehend the couple as they travelled in the Hyundai HB20.
In their statements to the police, the couple reportedly admitted to carrying out the robberies.
Their modus operandi can be seen in the second piece of footage.
According to local media, Karina’s role was to be present at the scene so as not to arouse suspicion among the victims.
The couple also reportedly named four accomplices, who were being searched for at the time of reporting.
The police reportedly seized a loaded .38 calibre revolver from the couple.
Heavily-inked Gomes was also active on Instagram, where she flaunted her curves and showed off her life of luxury to her 50,000-plus followers.
The account was deactivated on 9th June.
She had once shared a snap of herself holding a replica firearm on social media.
In one video, she had used a filter depicting prison cell bars and joked: “If being jealous, possessive, crazy, and neurotic were crimes.”
The couple, who have no priors, will reportedly remain in custody until the investigation is concluded.
