This footage shows how a gorgeous influencer was terrified after she woke up and claimed discovered a man hidden in a room behind a secret bookcase door by her bed in a hotel.

The 27-year-old influencer, named as Karoline Menezes, the former partner of actor Antonio Carlos, made this discovery in a hotel room in the state of Sao Paulo, Brazil, on 9th November.

She had checked into the hotel for the wake of her friend, Luana Andrade, who tragically passed away at the age of 29 due to cardiac arrest after undergoing knee liposuction surgery.

Karoline filmed her room before reaching out to pull the bookshelf to reveal the secret door and room.

She can be seen pushing the door open and revealing the room, with signs that it was being used, with a laptop and luggage seen in the video.

Karoline expressed her shock, saying: “How absurd.”

She made the discovery when she went to the loft and switched off the light after feeling dizzy from taking some pills.

Upon waking up, she noticed a ray of light and pulled the bookcase, discovering the secret passage.

She said she saw a man inside the room, causing her to panic.

She added that there was also an electronic lock in the secret room leading to her room, according to reports.

Karoline requested a refund and left the hotel for another due to the shock.

She believed the man in the secret room was possibly the hotel host, although he denied this and said he had booked the room through Airbnb.

The influencer warned her fans to be cautious about where they stay when travelling on her social media page.

She reported the incident to the police that night, though she claimed to have received no assistance, according to local media.
