Tattoo Influencer Mum Back With Four-Year-Old Son Two Years After Brit Dad Snatched Him

A tattoo influencer has been reunited with her four-year-old son two years after his British dad kidnapped him and took him to live at a strip bar in Thailand.

Mum Anika Ball, 32, from Cologne, Germany, never stopped looking for her son Logan after her former husband spirited him away to a notorious beach resort where his brother owned a strip bar by using a forged passport.

Despite obtaining a European Arrest Warrant it couldn’t be served until Logan and his dad crossed an EU border.

Then astonished Anika received a tip-off from one of her social media followers saying they’d seen Logan and his dad at the Alaiye Resort & Spa Hotel in Antalya, Turkey, on 29th March.

Photos and videos showed the father and son splashing in the hotel pool.

Within hours, reports local media, she boarded a flight to Turkey and went straight to the police to demand they enforce the EAW.

In a heartwarming Instagram post, Anika and Logan are seen together as they return to Germany on 2nd April after Turkish police seized her ex.

In a dramatic arrest flight officials stopped a plane Logan and his dad were on moments before it took off so police could get on board.

Anika said in an interview with German newspaper Bild: “It’s unbelievable, it feels like he was only on vacation for two weeks. I was so scared that Logan wouldn’t even recognise me.

“I am so grateful to the airport police for their quick and decisive action.”

The trained nurse and the boy’s father British subject Dale S., 39. Had married in Wales in 2017 but split six months after Logan’s birth in 2021.

Judges awarded custody to Anika but allowed Dale S. to see his son at weekends.

But, according to reports local media, Logan’s dad Dale S. forged Anika’s signature on a travel permit to obtain a British passport for their son.

Then he whisked Logan out of Germany to Pa Tong on Thailand’s Phuket Island, where his brother owns a strip bar.

The town is one of the most raucous resorts in Thailand with go-go bars, nightclubs. And massage parlors spilling out onto the street.

Local media reports that Logan’s dad was later released from Turkish custody and allowed to travel to the UK as Britain is no longer part of the EAW agreement.

Anika said: “We all need a lot of rest and time now so that normality can be restored.

“And we need a safe home so that Logan’s father can never harm us like this again.”
