A Playboy model has told how she had to turn to police for help when her baggy trousers got snagged in her bicycle chain.
TV presented Cathy Hummels had the embarrassing wardrobe malfunction as she was pedalling past officers on guard outside a German government building.
Cathy – former wife of 2014 Word Cup-winning soccer star Mats Hummels – was stuck fast when the leg of her flared orange and black pants got caught.
So she asked officers on duty outside the Bavarian State Chancellery in Munich to help give her a legover.
Cathy documented the drama in an Instagram story saying: “On my way to an appointment, now I’m in big trouble.”
She went on: “Now I got help. One wheel needs to be removed. My appointment must wait.”
Cathy was eventually able to resume her trip after a passerby provided some tools.
And her eye-catching trousers were not even damaged in the mishap, say local media.
In one picture, she gives a thumbs-up as she poses behind her pink bike surrounded by a helpful passerby and two officers.
Cathy – who has more than 700,000 followers on Instagram – and Mats were divorced after seven years of marriage in 2022.
Last month the fashion designer and events agency manager left her fans in awe by posing topless for Playboy Germany’s July issue.
Speaking to Bild newspaper about the topless cover shots, she said at that time: “I do what I feel like doing.
“I stand by myself and I am grateful that I am healthy after the tough years that I have been through.”
She added: “I’ve never really embraced my body. I’m 35 years old and only now can I say: I like myself. I would have liked to have had this body feeling earlier.”
Cathy’s 35-year-old ex-husband Mats won the 2014 World Cup with the German national team.
In 2019, the centre-back rejoined Borussia Dortmund after having spent three seasons at Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
In March, Cathy – born Catherine Fischer – captioned an Instagram snap showing her and Mats surrounded by shopping bags: “Damn, yes, we’re divorced. But we’re still cool with each other.”
Their son Ludwig was born in 2018.
