Model Can’t Help Shedding Tears In Weird Side Effect Of Her Facial Paraylsis

A stunning model and influencer from Germany has begun shedding ‘crocodile tears’ after developing paralysis on the left side of her face after contracting herpes.

Curvy Angelina Kirsch, 35, hit the front when she posted several videos with the entire left side of her face paralysed after contracting herpes in July.

The condition, called hemiplegia, was confirmed after blood tests showed the presence of herpes in the gorgeous TV host’s system on 24th July.

She was finally diagnosed with Bell’s palsy, a condition portrayed by sudden weakness in the muscles on one side of the face.

But Angelina who lives in Neumuenster, Germany, has now shocked her 210,000 Instagram followers again after she randomly started crying in a video on Sunday, 24th September.

She said: “No, I’m not sad. These are crocodile tears, caused by my facial paralysis. This symptom is new, I’ve only had it for a short time.

The syndrome called the ‘crocodile tears syndrome’ or simply ‘Bogorad syndrome’ is the shedding of tears while eating or drinking in patients recovering from Bell palsy.

Angelina explained that the crying mostly appears at the end of the day, and added: “The doctor says this is completely normal and a symptom I should expect.”

She continued: “Not much has happened recently. My left eye is a bit dependent on my mood. When I’m tired or nervous, it’s slower to close.”

The influencer who has been paralysed for more than two months, said: “I will continue to be patient.”

Emphasising that her left nostril and upper lip are her greatest concern, she said: “They are both still the weakest in ‘Team Face’.

“I remain patient because the course of this disease is different for everyone.”

The model confirmed she is frequently undergoing physical therapy and treatments, such as acupuncture, as well as visiting a speech therapist for her condition.

She said: “I’m completely satisfied.”
