The former spouse of the footballer the Hulk has fractured her jaw after fainting at a hotel.

The incident happened during a trip to the interior of Sao Paulo when the former WAG Iran Angelo, a digital entrepreneur and the ex-wife of the former football player, ended up with a broken jaw after she fainted on 30th July.

A representative confirmed that she was currently hospitalised and added: “She is currently under medical care and is expected to recover fully.” 

Details surrounding the incident remain scant but she was alone at her hotel in the city of Atibaia during the incident. 

Ms. Angelo’s representative said that she is receiving the necessary medical attention but added that the healing process will require time and patience.

He added: “Iran is brave and she’s showing immense strength at this difficult time.”

The 34-year-old entrepreneur shares three children with her former spouse. 

Their marriage ended in 2019 after a decade, attracting substantial attention from the public and media alike. 

The incident in which she was left with a broken jaw resulted in a flood of sympathy from her followers and well-wishers, many of whom have taken to social media to express concern and extend wishes for a speedy recovery.

The Hulk, whose real name is Givanildo Vieira de Sousa, played for various football clubs during his career, including Porto, Zenit Saint Petersburg, and Shanghai SIPG.

He was known for his physical strength and powerful shots on goal. However, he decided to retire from football at the age of 34 to pursue other interests and spend more time with his family.
