An ex-Aldi worker who was dubbed the world’s hottest supermarket cashier has stunned her millions of followers by dying her trademark blonde hair brown.
Stunning Elaine Victoria, 20, became a TikTok sensation after posting clips of herself dancing and lip-syncing at her supermarket in Hamburg, Germany.
But now the influencer – known for her amazing blonde locks – has divided her fans over her new to-dye-for hairdo.
Flaunting her new colour, Elaine – who boasts 1.7 million TikTok and another 263,000 on Instagram – flirted: “Are you up for a girls’ day with me?”
She later told German newspaper Bild: “In general, I wanted to put an end to how I was as a person, how people from back then cheated and lied to me, but also how I dealt with people.
“I just wanted to get rid of all the negativity, to leave the person behind me.
“When that hair colour was gone, I felt like a huge load was lifted from my heart. I immediately felt much better. Sounds weird, but it shook me into something new.”
Explaining that her blonde hair was hard to maintain, she added: “I’ve been through a lot with my blonde hair.
“It was also not very easy to maintain this blonde tone. I just wanted to put an end to the past. With everything, with every single thing.”
However, her new style caused a dispute among her online fans with most of them firmly saying they liked more her blonde hair.
TikTok user ‘kiki_786’ said: “Blonde suits you better, sorry I must tell you the truth.”
Another user named ‘medicpix002’ added: “Nooo! Please don’t! Please stay blonde, you are blonde. Please stay faithful to it!”
And ‘motivation.zitate3’ added: “Blonde suits you a thousand times better. I don’t think this color suits you at all!”
Replying to online critics Elaine’s husband TikTok star Jamal Edin El-Bahri – known among fans as JamooTV – added: “Much better honey, no matter who says what!”
Elaine added: “Opinions are divided among my followers. Some say ‘blonde was better’, ‘go back to blonde’ or ‘the real cashier is blonde’.
“Others say ‘Oh my god, looks great’, ‘It suits you really well’ or ‘Your face is showing off really well’.
“My friends, my husband and my family think it’s great. Anyway, I think it’s great and that’s the main thing.”
Elaine left her Aldi job after her clips catapulted her to fame in 2021.
She said: “I stopped working at Aldi exactly a month after the Aldi video went viral. At the moment I work exclusively as an influencer.
“If you look at me a year ago, I’ve become a completely different person. From life, from lifestyle.
“I’m at home a lot now, don’t travel as much anymore, have a husband, two cats, have matured a lot, have more responsibility.
“A year ago I was often at parties, I was a completely different person. It was very, very good for me to break away from this person and I’m much better now than I was then.”
Elaine reportedly met her 25-year-old husband shortly after going viral, who she recently announced she wed in an Islamic ceremony.
