A Serbian pop diva who accused Kim Kardashian and Ariana Grande of stealing her style has stunned the public after appearing in a two-piece Balenciaga net pothole fishnet outfit at a party.
Singer and media personality Jelena Karleusa, 44, hit the front when she lashed out at the 42-year-old socialite for ripping off her style in 2015.
The full-lipped pop star then caused a stir again when she claimed the frilly dress worn by Ariana Grande at the Grammy Awards was “the same” as the one she wore in October 2020, and she posted a snap of the two outfits together.
And she now again turned heads at an event in Serbia’s capital Belgrade when she popped up on the red carpet wearing nothing but a pothole fishnet crop top and leggings by Balenciaga.
Karleusa who boasts more than 2.4 million followers on Instagram also wore a leather glove and simultaneously a handbag – also designed by the Spanish luxury fashion brand – that greatly complemented her stunning look.
Her platinum blonde hair was dyed neon green to fit her outfit.
The 44-year-old musician and influencer commented on her recent withdrawal from the pop scene and said: “I hope we all have a good time tonight.
“I heard that many of my colleagues are here, I hope we will all enjoy it.”
“I try to appear as little as possible at such events because I am preparing for the album that should be released in August.
“Now I’m really going to enter a media illegality. I’ll retire and see you in August.”
When asked about whether she supports metrosexuals, she said: “I’m in favour of manicures and pedicures for men, especially pedicures, and nail polish, possibly in some cases, for public figures with eccentric styling.
“Those metrosexuals are not something that women like too much.”
She then commented on the release of her new album named ‘Alfa’ and said: “It would not be wise for someone to release anything after me, that is my warm recommendation.
“It will be great.”
German magazine Focus once referred to Karleusa as the “Madonna of the Balkans” while W magazine compared her to Lady Gaga.
She was married to former Serbian footballer Dusko Tosic, 38, who she has two daughters with.
