Blonde Model Covered Herself In Tats After Losing Leg

A blonde dental technician covered herself in tattoos after losing her leg as a child.

Lisa Scheer was one of the eye-catchers at the Dortmund Tattoo Convention in Germany from 2nd to 4th June.

She is covered from head to toe in ink and even has a split tongue.

Lisa – a trained dental technician – has now told how she got her first tattoo to celebrate beating the cancer that claimed one of her legs.

The 32-year-old from Duisburg told local media: “As a child, I had bone cancer, and my right leg had to be amputated.

“After the illness, at the age of 14, I joined the punk scene, got my first piercing and my first tattoo.”

Lisa – who describes herself as a tattoo artist and model on Instagram, where she has 35,200 followers – can now walk with the help of a prosthetic leg.

She told local media that she sees her body “as a book about my life, showing my memories, thoughts, feelings, and motivations”.

She added: “Of course, I’m used to people staring. But I’m often positively approached about my appearance as well.

“If I ever have children, I will explain to them that tattoos are my way of expressing myself.”

More than 25,000 visitors are believed to have attended the 26th edition of the Dortmund Tattoo Convention over the weekend.

Organiser Martin Siedler said: “The Dortmund fair is the most colourful convention in the world.

“Nowhere else is the range of tattoo and piercing as represented as here.”
