Soccer superstar Neymar is at the centre of claims of a secret pre-match party with models and his Brazil teammates hours before their shock World Cup result.

Brazilian fans were outraged when their side could only manage a draw against unfancied Venezuela in the key qualifier on 13th October.

But now it has been alleged that on the night before the match, Brazil stars Neymar, Vinicius Jr, and Spurs striker Richarlison staged a party with specially invited girls.

One, named as beautiful influencer Leticia Sogiro, is even alleged to be the woman seen in a video leaving the hotel.

The scandal emerged as Brazilian journalist Matheus Baldi posted images of three women along with a leaked audio message talking about the alleged party.

The three strikers were said to have secretly staged the party in Cuiaba, the capital of Brazil’s Mato Grosso State, on 12th October.

The players, said one guest, had banned mobile phones from the event.

The next morning, Brazil faced Venezuela, who secured an against-the-odds draw to the fury of Brazilian fans.

Some were so angry that Neymar was hit in the head with a box of popcorn hurled at him.

Hours earlier, claims Baldi, the Brazilian stars invited influencers Leticia Sogiro, Rita Lopes, and Rebeca Ribeiro to their secret bash.

Baldi wrote on social media: “The topic in Cuiaba wasn’t so much the draw of the Brazilian national team with Venezuela, but a possible ‘party’ involving some players that allegedly took place on Thursday, the 12th.”

He further claimed that in a WhatsApp audio one guest said Neymar was with Rebeca Ribeiro.

His teammates Vinicius Jr. and Ricarlison, he claimed, were with Leticia Sogiro, and Rita Lopes.

In a video going viral in Mato Grosso, some people claim that a blonde woman seen leaving the hotel is the image of Leticia Sogiro.

Baldi added: “Rebeca, implicated in the alleged encounter with Neymar, even posted a photo with the player, calling him ‘brother,’ and today, after all the controversy in the city, she uploaded a video addressing the rumours.

“Rebeca even threatens to sue some individuals.”

Model Leticia later confirmed to local media that she had met with Vinicius Jr and that she had created the viral Whats App audio.

She said: “We’ve been talking through messages since April. There’s even a leaked audio of me saying this.”

In an alleged message she sent to a friend, which later came to light, Leticia said: “He invited me to his birthday, to many parties. He asked me to come to Madrid, and I never went to see him.

“We talked for a long time, six months. And then he comes to my city, and I can’t be with him?

“These people in Cuiaba are so stupid, aren’t they?

“Screw it. I’m fine. I’m with a guy I talk to. I’m single, he’s single. Can’t I just be with the guy in peace?”

Leticia also claimed that Vinicius Jr. did not like that their relationship became public, so she does not know if it has a future.

She said: “He’s upset about the situation.”

But she would not confirm the names of other players at the party.

She said she had received an invitation to the party in a hotel and was told not to talk about the event, but added: “Mobile phones were banned there.”

Renowned Brazilian journalist Leo Dias also addressed the issue on his news portal, claiming: “Neymar organised a party in a luxury condominium in Cuiaba with only the presence of women and selected players.”

The reporter stated that both Richarlison and Vinicius Jr. were at the party, as well as Rafaella, Ney’s sister.
