The Brazilian football legend Romario has been caught with his new love 24 years his junior.
Romario de Souza Faria, 58, was spotted with the beautiful brunette Maria Geusiane Santos, 34, at Praia da Barra, Rio de Janeiro, last weekend (2nd-3rd March).
The pair have been enjoying their romance for at least two months, according to local media.
Romario and event promoter Maria, who lives in Meier, met in a bar in Rio’s West Zone, where the senator and former player lives.
Maria, who comes from Ceara where her family still lives, will turn 35 in April and loves parties and travelling, according to local media.
Romario, who is now a politician, has not had a new love since 2022. When he was dating digital influencer Marcelle Ceolin, 25 years younger, from Rio Grande do Sul.
The relationship ended in August 2022, after Marcelle discovered that Romario was unfaithful to her and had two other girlfriends, according to local media.
Romario, who is said to have been one of the greatest football players of all time. Had scored 700 goals and is one of the few players to score at least 100 goals for three clubs.
