Raunchy Singer Finds Spiritual Self After Shaman Told Her To Abstain From Lovemaking

Brazillian singer Anitta has told how she found her spiritual self after refraining from sex for ten months on the advice of a female shaman.

Larissa de Macedo Machado, better known as Anitta, went to retreat with the shaman Max Tovar in the rural area between Varginha and Monsenhor Paulo in Minas Gerais, Brazil.

This was their third meeting in her so-called “regestation” procedure and lasted five days, said the singer.

She added: I’ve changed my way of being so much that I can’t even go online like I used to, I’ve changed a lot.

“I only had a little kiss, but didn’t have anything else with anyone for almost a year. And I loved it.”

Anitta said she again spent the first week of October with her guru and added on 8th October: “Embarking on self-knowledge is a path of no return, painful, intense, profound, but miraculous, truly healing.

“It opens the doors for you to become aware of your true self. It gives you the opportunity to choose to have control over your Ego.

“The fight against mine was difficult, but after one year, after visiting my mentor for the third time, today, after five days disconnected from everything and everyone, offline and completely surrendered, today I follow another chapter of life with great joy. Gratitude and pride in my courage.

“Looking inside is not easy, looking at your fear, talking to it, looking at your defects, learning to love them, meeting your ego and understanding it, fighting against this power that knows all your weaknesses so intimately and does not think twice before using them to try to make you give up.

“It’s difficult, but it’s freeing. Gratitude.”
