Model’s Massive Heart Attack On Operating Table

A reality TV star has died after suffering a massive cardiac arrest during fat-reducing liposuction surgery in a private hospital.

Health and fashion Influencer Luana Andrade, 29, who had almost 500,000 Instagram followers, died after a huge blood clot blocked her heart’s blood vessels on Tuesday, 7th November,

Hospital Sao Luiz in Sao Paulo, Brazil, gave the cause of death as a massive pulmonary embolism.

During the procedure, they said, Luana suffered a cardiac arrest.

They explained: “The surgery was interrupted and the patient underwent tests that revealed massive thrombosis.

“She was transferred to the ICU where she underwent medication and hemodynamic treatment.”

Luana’s shocked businessman boyfriend Joao Hadad could only tell local media: “I’m not in a position to speak right now.”

Joao and Luana both previously took part in the Power Couple Brasil 6 reality TV show.

And apart from her Instagram career Luana worked as a stage assistant on the TV show Domingo Legal.

Among many social media users who mourned her death was the Brazillian footballer Neymar, who said: “Sad day, with two very bad news.

“First there was the attack that Bru [Bruna Biancardi]’s parents suffered, but thank God everyone is safe!

“Second, the death of a friend. My condolences to the whole family, may God welcome Luana with open arms.”

And surfer Gabriel Medina condemned the aesthetic procedures, saying: “Today I lost a friend due to ‘simple’ aesthetic procedures.

“The world is surreal, people…especially you women.

“This standard of ‘perfect’ bodies that are impossible to achieve displayed on Instagram and in the media needs to end urgently.

“Why risk your life for nothing? Can not understand. We are young, we have several other ways of feeling good, healthy and beautiful.

“If I can give some advice it would be that we need to get back to showing more reality in everything.

“This fake world will end up killing more and more young people.”
