A multimillionaire’s wife has told how motorbike bandits snatched her EUR 150,000 Patek Philippe watch from her wrist in a daring daylight ride-by robbery.
Bozena Lazarevic, 36, says she was attacked as she was walking with her children outside the exclusive five-star Bayerischer Hof hotel in Munich on 11th May.
Boneza and her husband Igor Lazarevic are close friends of football star Robert Lewandowski and his wife Anna.
Her watch, a diamond-studded Patek Philippe Aquanaut Luce, is one of the most expensive timepieces in the world, according to local media.
She said: “We are insured, the damage will be repaired. But anything worse that could have happened to my children gives me sleepless nights.
“I had my three-year-old daughter in one hand and my eight-year-old son walking next to me when I was attacked.
“They were completely exhausted after the terrible attack, my little one was shaking all over.”
She added: “I had been talking to a friend for a few minutes on the street in front of a cafe. He probably targeted me then.”
At the time of writing, there were no reports of an arrest.
